Three new third-party providers will be integrated with Facebook’s Rights Manager tool, which enables the owners of rights to video content to protect that content.
The social network introduced Rights Manager in April 2016.
Product manager Xiaoyin Qu announced in a Facebook Media blog post Tuesday that third-party rights-management providers FriendMTS, MarkMonitor and Zefr are integrating with the social network’s Rights Manager API (application-programming interface) in the coming weeks to provide rights management on Facebook as a service.
Qu wrote that current Rights Manager users can reach out directly to FriendMTS, MarkMonitor or Zefr, and rights owners who are not currently enrolled in Rights Manager can apply to do so here.
