Facebook’s chief revenue officer David Fischer announced two weeks ago that he is departing the company after 11 years. The former Google executive joined Facebook in 2010 to build out the social platform’s still-burgeoning ad business.

“Our business today is two orders of magnitude bigger than when I joined more than a decade ago,” Fischer said in the interview.
