Facebook's Ongoing Security Battle
Over the past few days, Facebook has been fighting against a number of hackers and spammers who have been polluting Facebook with misleading links that have compromised a fairly large number of users’ computers. Techcrunch first reported about this virus yesterday and Facebook quickly posted a follow-up, commenting on the issue.
For those of you not aware of what was taking place, there were spoofed wall postings that were showing up around the site. This isn’t the first occurrence of such activities but it appears to be the first time that many people were notified about it.
