Facebook Troll Poses as Target Customer Service, Responds to Gender-Neutral Labeling Complaints

FB Newswire reported that Facebook user Mike Melgaard, described as a self-styled troll, created the screen names Ask ForHelp and Target Customer Service, using the retail giant’s logo as an avatar, and responded to comments on the Target page about the company’s recent decision to scrap gender-specific labeling.

How did he respond? As you can see from the screenshots below, selected from an album posted by Melgaard, the mantra, “The customer is always right,” did not exactly apply here.

Observant Facebook users would easily spot the red flags indicating that the responses from the Ask ForHelp and Target Customer Service accounts were not from Target itself.
