This feature allows users to switch between different Messenger accounts without signing in and out. While some users may not have a use for this feature, a GlobalWebIndex report from earlier this year revealed 31 percent of Facebook Messenger users ‘share their mobile devices with at least one other person.’
iOS users can access this feature by going to the app’s settings and tapping ‘Switch Account.’ From there, users can login with additional Messenger accounts and switch between them as needed.
Support for multiple accounts launched in Facebook Messenger on Android in February.
