Facebook Jobs Can Now Be Posted to Groups

Just in time for the holiday shopping season

Facebook is sprucing up its jobs tool for the holiday shopping season, adding the ability to share job listings in groups.

The social network said in a blog post that more than 525,000 seasonal employees were hired in the U.S. last year for the holiday shopping season.

Users can now share job listings to groups they belong to, in addition to already existing options of sharing to pages, the Jobs bookmark and Marketplace.

Facebook also added a new set of tools to its Manage Jobs tab on pages, allowing page administrators to filter, sort and mark candidates as favorites via the social network’s mobile applications.

Finally, pages can now add a Jobs Manager role, assigning someone to post jobs and manage incoming applications.

Facebook’s jobs tool was introduced in the U.S.
