Facebook unveiled several initiatives in support of National Black Business Month, which will run throughout the month of August.

The social network teamed up with U.S. Black Chambers on a three-part online series of training and discussions with Black-owned small business owners and business experts, covering topics including access to capital and building community.

U.S. Black Chambers president Ron Busby said in a statement, “This year’s National Black Business Month is pivotal for countless Black entrepreneurs enduring the pandemic-induced recession, coupled with historical Black business closures and unemployment.
