Facebook Continued to Be the Top Media Source for App Marketers in the First Half of 2018

Mobile analytics company AppsFlyer released its latest report

AppsFlyer, a mobile analytics company, released the seventh edition of its Performance Index, which ranks the top media sources in mobile advertising.

The report looked at 14.5 billion application installations and 25 billion app openings across 8,200 apps from January through June 2018, and it found that Facebook continues to be the No. 1 media source for mobile app marketers, followed by Google in the second spot.

AppsFlyer looked at both volume and retention to create power rankings of media sources across gaming and non-gaming categories.
