Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg revealed the details of a $100 million grant program to help 30,000 small and midsized businesses in more than 30 countries during the coronavirus pandemic.
The social network introduced a Business Resource Hub last week to support businesses that are being directly or indirectly affected by Covid-19, and the company said it will continue to create virtual training and materials, along with other steps.
Sandberg wrote in a Facebook post, “Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities, and many of the people who run these businesses are heavily affected by the crisis—especially as more and more people sensibly stay home.
