Facebook auto-fills ad targeting suggestions


Facebook is doing what it can to help marketers on the social network by doing things such as opening up the Facebook for Business hub and offering simplified advertising.

An AllFacebook reader noticed that the site is also offering suggestions for demographic targeting when an ad is created.

Reader Or Fialkov of Fialkov Digital noticed that while creating a Facebook ad for CNN, the site automatically recommended that the ad targets people in the U.S., Philippines and Nigeria who are interested in CNN, politics and business (among others).
