While subjects related to the coronavirus pandemic certainly made their mark on the list of Hot Topics for March 2020 from Facebook IQ, the hottest topic of the month on both Facebook and Instagram involved the luck of the Irish.
St. Patrick’s Day was the hottest Hot Topic on both platforms last month, followed closely by Super Tuesday in the holidays and events category. The pandemic was also a strong topic of discussion on Facebook, but Instagrammers talked up Women’s History Month, instead.
