EA Announces Closure of Plants vs Zombies Adventures on Facebook

Electronic Arts has revealed its plans to shutter PopCap Games’ Plants vs. Zombies Adventures on Facebook. The game was released in 2013, and sees players defending a base from the undead. It features famous franchise plants like Sunflowers and Wall-Nuts, as well as new zombies and plants, like the Beet, which causes large amounts of melee damage to enemies.
The closure news comes from EA’s service updates page, and has been confirmed on the Plants vs Zombies Adventures Facebook page:
