EA Acquiring Hands-On Mobile Korea
Electronic Arts said Thursday that it has agreed to buy Hands-On Mobile Korea, a leading Korean mobile developer and publisher, as part of EA’s Asia development and growth plans.
Best known for its role-playing game “Heroes Lore,” Hands-On Mobile Korea will become EA Mobile Korea upon completion of the deal.
EA Mobile Korea will be managed by Gilbert Kim, who has headed up Hands-On Mobile Korea.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of this fiscal quarter.
