DeNA, Japan's top mobile social gaming service, has announced that it will be entering the burgeoning Chinese gaming market in Feb, 2011. DeNA will be launching a gaming platform similar to its "Mobage Open Platform" in China through its subsidiary DeNA China Network Technology Company.


DeNA, Japan’s top mobile social gaming service, has announced that it will be entering the burgeoning Chinese gaming market in Feb, 2011. DeNA will be launching a gaming platform similar to its “Mobage Open Platform” in China through its subsidiary DeNA China Network Technology Company.

DeNA made a lot of noise, when it acquired a majority stake in WAPTX, a UK based mobile gaming company that operated in China under the name Tx.com.cn. WAPTX was previously being run as an independent company, however DeNA is now rebranding WAPTX as DeNA China Network Technology Company and would be bringing DeNA’s Japanese platform technology and business model to the Chinese market.
