The DailyMail.com's North American CEO Is Leaving After 16 Months

Jon Steinberg helped double ad sales revenue

Jon Steinberg, CEO of DailyMail.com North America, is leaving the company, announced CEO and publisher Martin Clarke.

In the short time Steinberg has been with DailyMail—16 months—he has overseen the acquisition of Elite Daily and the launch of agency Truffle Pig, a joint venture with WPP and Snapchat.

"Jon has played a leading role in building our digital media assets in the U.S.," said Clarke, who added that the company's future growth will be organic.

"We have very amicably agreed that this does not play to Jon's passions and strengths in pursuing significant acquisitions and partnerships, and he has therefore decided to move on and find his next challenge," Clarke said.
