Customized Android Apps Coming To GoogleTV
Google has released a preview version of Android programming plug-in that will allow developers to create Android applications for Google TV devices. The new tool will enable developers to test their existing Android apps in a big TV screen environment or port them to run over Google TV. Another option will be to create specific apps for Google TV.
Ambarish Kenghe, Google TV product manager, wrote in a blog post:
With the upcoming OS update to Honeycomb, Google TV devices will be Android compatible.
