Creators React to Changes in YouTube’s Requirements for Verification

Many tweeted about followers, likes and longevity on the platform

YouTube revealed several changes to its verification program this week, and its creator community did not take the news well.

UPDATED: YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki responded to creators Friday afternoon by tweeting an apology and saying that more updates will be coming soon to address their concerns.
