Crayon, a Visual Inspiration Platform for Marketers, Raises $1.5 Million of Angel Investment

Crayon, which provides marketing companies with visual inspiration for website design, announced this week a $1.5 million round of angel investment.

Crayon, which provides marketing companies with visual inspiration for website design, announced this week a $1.5 million round of angel investment.

Among the investors are Dharmesh Shah and Brian Halligon, Hubspot co-founders. Other angel investors include Mike Volpe, Eric Ries, Ed Roberts, Othman Laraki, Jonah Goodheart. and Jennifer Lum.

CommonAngels Ventures and Boston Syndicates are also backing Crayon, which will use this round of funding to accelerate product development.

Crayon co-founder and CEO Jonah Lopin commented on the funding in a press release:
