Games publisher CoolGames launched Tetris on Instant Games, Facebook’s HTML5 cross-platform gaming service that allows users to play asynchronous games with their friends on News Feed and Messenger.
Developed by CoolGames’ in-house studio, Tetris for Instant Games challenges players to earn as many points as possible by arranging shapes to form complete horizontal lines. The game contains high-score leaderboards, daily missions and the ability to invite friends to play.
In a press release, Facebook’s director of games partnerships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa Bob Slinn said, “Spanning decades and generations, Tetris has delighted hundreds of millions of fans worldwide, and we’re excited to welcome this beloved franchise to the Instant Games platform.
