Bloomberg's Jeanne Cummings Returns to WSJ

Likely to serve in "a political editing capacity."

jeancummings_newJeanne Cummingsdeputy managing editor at Bloomberg, is returning to The Wall Street Journal, reports Politico’s Hadas Gold.

Cummings, who helped oversee the launch of Bloomberg’s daily politics show with Mark Halperin and John Heilemann back in October, left WSJ in 2007 for Politico before her eventual stint at Bloomberg. She had been writing columns for Bloomberg View for the past several months, ever since she was moved from her previous role with Bloomberg Politics earlier this year.

According to Gold, Cummings’ official role with her new employer will be announced in the next few weeks, but is likely to serve in “a political editing capacity.”
