Blend Reveals Group Messaging Habits of Millennials

New data from the group messaging app shows Monday afternoon is the most popular time to send group messages.

Group messaging app Blend has finished its transformation from a college-focused photo-sharing app, to a platform for users to chat in groups.

In addition to offering private group messaging, the app supports public groups which can only be created by verified users (celebrities, brands, etc.).

Public groups give these verified users a new way to interact with their audiences, and have reportedly been used by artists such as Shawn Mendes and Jack & Jack.

In a statement, Akash Nigam, CEO of Blend, commented:

Through our extensive experience in the college demo, it became clear to us that there was a need for a more innovative messaging platform.
