Billboard has a new news director in Hannah Karp, who joins from the Wall Street Journal, where she has been since 2004, and where she is currently a staff reporter covering the music industry. As news director, Karp will be responsible for Topline, the magazine’s news section, as well as breaking news and music industry coverage on the publication’s digital side.
