Artsy Fills Newly Created Post Promoting Growth Marketing

Robert Lamvik will manage efforts to scale the online art marketplace

With art buyers staring blank walls in their homes during the pandemic, it’s not surprising Artsy saw sales on its online marketplace soar in 2020. To keep that momentum going through this year and beyond, the company has named Robert Lamvik to the newly created role of vp of growth marketing.

Lamvik joins Artsy from high school esports platform PlayVS, where he led growth and marketing efforts. Before that, he held global leadership positions at both Headspace and Spotify where he focused on subscriber growth initiatives across product and marketing.

Lamvik is charged with helping increase Artsy’s user base of 2 million-plus art collectors and sellers.
