Amazon’s #BeforeAlexa Was This Year's Most-Watched Super Bowl Ad on YouTube (During the Game)

“JLo tour 2020” spiked 2,450% after the halftime show

We still watched Super Bowl ads before Alexa, but Amazon would have had to find something else to promote in order to finish atop YouTube’s list of most-watched Big Game ads Sunday night.

YouTube said viewership of Super Bowl ads on its platform during the game was up roughly 30% from last year, with that figure jumping to 70% of YouTube viewership on TV screens.

Viewership of halftime performer Shakira’s YouTube channel peaked at about 600,000 views per hour at 8 p.m.
