All ads in Instagram Stories are going full-screen.
The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network announced Thursday that when brands upload a photo or video (under 15 seconds) within its feed aspect ratios, it will automatically provide full-screen support for that photo or video within Instagram Stories.
Instagram said its pixel-matching technology will automatically select a background gradient to convert the ad into a full-screen format, adding that for square or landscape creative, text from the ad’s Instagram or Facebook feed will be added below it.
