Over 5,700 new publishers joined or rejoined the 50,000-plus pages using Instant Articles

Facebook shared its 20 most-clicked-on news stories of the year, along with several growth stories regarding its Instant Articles offering for publishers.

The social network said the top 100 publishers using Instant Articles in Canada and the U.S. saw revenue per thousand article reads grow 48% year-over-year.

That growth rate was 27% for the top 500 publishers worldwide on Instant Articles.
