Pretty Little Liars, the hit teen drama that redefined ABC Family and led to the network changing its name to Freeform, is ending its run after this season. The show’s final 10 episodes—including a two-hour finale—will air beginning next April, Freeform announced today.

The news—announced on Facebook Live today by the cast and creator I. Marlene King—comes ahead of the teen drama’s summer finale, which airs Tuesday night.

After debuting in 2010, the show—a teen drama based on the series of young adult mystery novels by Sara Shepard—became one of ABC Family’s biggest hits, and propelled the cable network to becoming the No.
