When you renew your entire fall lineup, as The CW did in January, it doesn't leave much room for new programming. That's why it's not surprising that The CW's 2015-2016 lineup, which the network announced Thursday morning before its upfront presentation, includes only one new fall series.

"This has been a terrific season for The CW and is a result of a strategy we set in motion a few years ago to broaden out and grow our audience,"  said CW president Mark Pedowitz.
