The unofficial motto of CBS may as well be “If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It,” and that laissez-faire philosophy informs everything from the network’s programming slate to its fall premiere schedule.

While NBC will get a head start on the 2012-13 TV season by bowing the bulk of its new and returning series in early September, CBS is staying true to its roots. The Tiffany Network announced today it will unveil the lion’s share of its new series during broadcast’s traditional Premiere Week.
