Facebook’s mobile business topped $1 billion in revenue last quarter (its Q4) and accounted for more than 50 percent of the social network’s ad dollars for the first time.
The company truly is more mobile than desktop based at this point after showing off earnings today that are primarily derived from ads on smartphones and the like. A year ago, mobile advertising represented less than 25 percent of Facebook’s ad revenue. Last quarter it was 53 percent.
