Online cheating website Ashley Madison—which uses the slogan, "Life is short. Have an affair."—is not typically a brand people talk about with their friends and co-workers. But the massive data leak revealed on Tuesday has the world buzzing about it, especially online.

Between July 20 and Aug. 19, digital chatter about Ashley Madison spiked 666 percent compared to its online mentions from June 19 to July 19, according to Amobee Brand Intelligence. Yep, 666.
