Another 'News of the World' Editor Arrested

Neil Wallis was at paper for six years

Thursday morning saw the ninth arrest in the ongoing News of the World phone hacking scandal. 

The latest person to be detained by British police is Neil Wallis, who started at News of the World as a deputy to then-editor Andy Coulson, who was himself arrested last week. He became executive editor of the paper in 2007, and left it in 2009. 

Wallis was taken in on charges of conspiring to intercept communications, a Scotland Yard spokesman told The Guardian
