LOS ANGELES — Charlie Rutman, evp/managing director of Carat, New York, has been named president of Carat USA, a new position.
The veteran media executive said his advancement comes as Carat under CEO David Verklin adds responsibilities in North American and Latin America markets, and the launch of new units such as Carat Direct.
“Charlie bleeds Carat blue,” said Verklin of the appointment. “He’s one of the key guys that built Carat in this country.”
