NEW YORK Omnicom Group’s BBDO has named John Osborn to replace Bill Katz, the agency said.

At 37, Osborn becomes the youngest president and CEO of the agency’s flagship New York office. Katz announced his departure last month, though a date for his exit has not been set.

Osborn had been executive vp, director of integrated marketing for BBDO North America.

In his new position, Osborn continues to report to Andrew Robertson, president of BBDO Worldwide.
