Pressured by nutrition advocates, a Taco Bell spot that joked bringing a vegetable tray to a sports party is "like punting on fourth and one" was pulled today. Instead, the ad urged viewers to bring one of its 12-pack of Taco Bell tacos.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest ratcheted up its complaint network to tweet about the ad.

Taco Bell complied and pulled the spot because it "didn't want anyone to misinterpret the intent of the ad," Taco Bell spokesman Rob Poetsch said in the Seattle PI

"It’s bad enough that there aren’t many ads on television for broccoli, kale or carrots.
