Coming off of the Sundance Channel’s first Golden Globes win for its presentation of the internationally acclaimed terrorist miniseries Carlos, Evan Shapiro is on a roll. As the president both of Rainbow Media’s IFC and the Sundance Channel, Shapiro has taken what traditionally is perceived as “indie” programming to new heights—and greater exposure.
In an interview with Adweek’s Alan Frutkin, Shapiro talks about IFC and the growth the network has experienced over the last several years.
