Hotels.com is shifting its creative business to Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the agency has confirmed.

The online travel site's media spending totals about $40 million annually.

The decision came after a review in which there were two other finalists: Leo Burnett in Chicago and Arnold in Boston. Ark Advisors in New York managed the process.

The Boulder, Colo. office of Crispin succeeds Young & Rubicam, Chicago, on the account. Y&R, a WPP Group agency, had handled the brand since 2009.
