Cannes is undoubtedly an amazing place to visit, but finding the right spots for food or drinks away from the crowded Croisette can be a challenge. Luckily, young copywriter Julian Cohen has a pretty fair deal for ad execs heading to the Cannes Lions this weekend: He'll give you a local's guide to enjoying the town, and all he asks in return is that you give his portfolio a glance. Having spent five years living in Cannes, Cohen decided he'd create a list of "hidden gems" that might attract the notice of agency leaders. "My list includes restaurants where you are sure to enjoy some memorable meals, along with some bars that are ideal to slip away from the large crowds of industry folk you'll often find yourself surrounded by," Cohen told Adweek.
