Judy Hu, the global executive director of advertising and branding at General Electric, is retiring from the conglomerate after 10 years, the company confirmed.

Linda Boff has been named the new executive director of global, digital, advertising and design. She was previously the executive director of digital at GE. No date has been set for Hu’s departure, as she is helping the company’s CMO Beth Comstock with the management transition.

At the company, founded by Thomas Edison and historically known for its “We bring good things to light” positioning, Hu helped modernize GE’s image.
