YouTube removed over 500,000 videos for Covid-19 misinformation since last February, CEO Susan Wojcicki said in her letter outlining her 2021 priorities, and the Google-owned video site consulted with more than 85 local health authorities to bring trusted information to viewers, serving up over 400 billion impressions of information panels related to the pandemic.

Wojcicki said Covid-19 helped spur a 25% increase in global watch time during the first quarter of 2020 and made it YouTube Gaming’s biggest year to date, with more than 100 billion hours of gaming content watched on the platform.
