YouTube will begin adding health source information panels starting this week to some health-related searches and videos on its platform in order to help viewers better identify authoritative sources.

Users may also begin seeing health content shelves that more effectively highlight videos from those authoritative sources.

The Google-owned video site said the goal is to help its users more easily navigate and evaluate credible health information, and videos from a range of sources will still appear in their search results.
