Five-year-old digital publisher Kyra, responsible for youth-focused YouTube and TikTok brands like Rag Report and now-defunct PAQ, has done a lot of growing up this past year. The 30-employee company is fresh off the back of a restructuring, and it’s also made investments in original content, built up its talent and set up a new podcast division—all of which will spur the company to exceed $10 million this year, according to its CEO.

Partly, this was in response to a Vice report accusing Kyra of creating a hostile work environment for young Black creators.
