The music-centric media company WMX, the editorial arm of Warner Music Group first launched in November, unveiled plans for its expansion into the world of connected television at its NewFront presentation Thursday night.

The company, which houses titles including Uproxx, HipHopDX and Song Kick, kicked off its inaugural NewFronts presentation with the debut of WMX Connect, its first-party data platform.

The storefront will enable media buyers to more seamlessly transact against WMX audiences, a continuation of the efforts from Warner Music Group to make it simpler for marketers to work with its media division.

WMX also announced that it was actively exploring options to bring its catalog of music and entertainment content to the CTV space, though it declined to offer any specific timetable or parties involved in the process.
