Abner Li from 9to5Google spotted a YouTube blog post Wednesday that was eventually taken down, confirming the feature’s beta debut in the U.S. and detailing some updates that have been added, and the blog post went live Thursday.

The most prominent change was the ability to add audio from other Shorts and remix it into Shorts that are being created, and YouTube said in its blog post that this would be expanded to all videos across its platform in the coming months, adding that creators of longer-form videos will be able to opt out if they don’t want their content used for remixing.
