Twitter, Variety Team Up on Trending TV Chart

Rankings are determined by engagement on the social network

Twitter and Variety joined forces on a new Trending TV chart that ranks happenings, moments and titles in the streaming and television sectors based on engagement on the social network.

The Trending TV chart will be hosted on a landing page within Variety’s TV section and embedded on the right rail across stories on Variety.com.

Variety will also create weekly videos featuring general updates on standings in the chart, as well as deep dives into specific genres.
