Twitter’s first acquisition under new CEO Parag Agrawal is messaging platform Quill.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Quill application will shut down, with users having until 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET Saturday (Dec. 11) to export their message histories, and the team from Quill will join Twitter’s experience team to work on messaging tools such as direct messages.

All user data will be deleted at that time, and full refunds will be issued to active teams on Quill.
