Twitter Puts More Green Into Twitter Blue With Its Acquisition of Threader

The app, shuttering Dec. 15, enabled users to compile threads on the social network, save their favorites

Twitter continued to bolster its Twitter Blue subscription option with Monday’s acquisition of Threader, an application that enabled people to compile and organize their Twitter threads, as well as save their favorites.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Threader app will shut down Dec. 15, and co-founder Marie Denis will join the social network’s longform team as a software engineer, working on Twitter Blue’s Reader feature and similar initiatives.
