Twitter: How to Turn Off Media Previews on Mobile

Users can prevent images, GIFs and more from automatically appearing in their feed

By default, the Twitter application will automatically load GIFs, images and videos in a user’s feed so that this content will be displayed as the user browses the app. However, users can turn off media previews if they want to prevent this content from being displayed automatically.

When a user turns off media previews in the Twitter app, they’ll need to tap a link in a tweet that contains a picture, GIF or video in order to view the content.
