Twitter: How to Change Your Interests

The platform will automatically match users to Topics

Sports marketing leaders from State Farm, the Golden State Warriors, the NBA and more will join ADWEEK Brand Play on May 9 to unpack the trends, techniques and tools you need to break into the space. Register for your virtual pass.

As a Twitter user engages with the social networking platform, Twitter will automatically “match” the user with various interests that can impact their future experience on the platform, including the advertisements they’ll see. Twitter will select these interests “based on your profile, activity and the Topics you follow.”

Twitter users have the ability to view the list of interests Twitter has matched to their profile and remove interests that aren’t a good fit.

Our guide will show you how to change your interests in the Twitter mobile application.
