Twitter Extends its Accessibility Capabilities Through New Alt Text Feature

The social launched the in-app tool after a month of test trials

Twitter sits on top of a queue of demands for new features by users. It can cross off one of those since the social network announced last week that it extended its accessibility capabilities with two new in-application features that will allow users who may be blind or have trouble with vision to understand images in a tweet through text.
